New vehicles, new lighting system, vehicle controls and more...

New lighting system

There is a new ambient lighting system which is looking much better than the old one and also doesn't need any gpu power.

Improved sunshafts

The sunshafts are looking much better now! They will emit from the sun and share the sun's color.

New vehicles

There are a bunch of new modern and WWII vehicles which will be added in the update!

WWI:

  • T-34
  • M4 Sherman
  • M26

Modern:

  • BTR-80
  • AMX-10
  • Marksman AA

The anti air tank will fight against units at the moment, but there will be other targets for it soon.

Control vehicles

The player can now start with a vehicle or enter an allied vehicle during the battle.

You can choose between two vehicle cameras: Third person and one camera, which is aligned to the main gun.

Apocalypse faction

As I promised, there will be a new faction in this update. The apocalypse faction uses improvised guns and armor, but they are a strong faction.

Other improvements

  • You can now jump into a unit and control it while you spectate a battle
    • Just click the "Control Unit" button in the toolbar
  • Fixed a day one bug, which caused units to sometimes ignore the terrain height and other obstacles
  • Fixed a memory leak which occured every time you start a new custom battle
  • Improved the vehicle navigation in flat and unflat terrain
  • Added smoke and muzzle flashes to vehicle weapons
  • Improved the loading progressbar while a battle is loading
  • Fixed a bug which caused vehicle assets to become corrupt, which caused weird behaviour
  • Improved the vehicle targeting
